We are working with Trafford Council to find a Strategic Lead for Quality and Governance on an interim basis. Job Type: Interim (6-month assignment)Location: TraffordSalary: £450-£490 per day We are seeking a Strategic Lead for Quality and Governance to join our team on an interim basis for a 6-month assignment. Reporting directly to the Corporate Director for Adults and Wellbeing, this role involves taking the strategic lead on developing and managing the Quality Assurance and Corporate Governance arrangements across the Adult Services and Wellbeing Directorate.Day-to-day of the role:- Design, implement, and monitor quality assurance systems and processes across all Adult Social Care in Trafford.- Develop and lead a robust culture of governance and quality assurance across the directorate.- Work collaboratively with all services to ensure directorate-wide compliance with external regulatory requirements.- Provide specialist advice on complex governance issues and ensure effective communication links with the Corporate Director for Adults and Wellbeing and the Directorate's Senior Management team.- Lead key projects and develop strong relationships and networks across the directorate and with external partners.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Demonstrable experience of working in and understanding Adult Social Care services, including social care delivery, assessment, and commissioned provision.- Broad understanding of the quality agenda, Care Quality Commission regulatory requirements.- Proven project management experience, including leading projects successfully to a conclusion.- Ability to work independently and within a changing regulatory landscape.- Masters degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject is preferred.- Evidence of recent relevant management/leadership training or significant relevant management experience.
