We are currently working with a growing manufacturing company who are seeking a Temporary Administrator to join their team. As the Temporary Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for their customers and visitors. Your responsibilities will include managing the reception area, answering phones, responding to email enquiries, and ensuring all correspondence is handled efficiently. Your excellent communication skills will be key in resolving business to business and customer queries, as well as assisting the sales team with administrative tasks such as updating pricing, generating reports, and organising transportation to events. You will also support the creation of engaging social media content and assist with email marketing campaigns, showcasing your creative flair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the reception area, warmly welcoming customers and guests.
  • Resolve and communicate both business to business and customer queries.
  • Handle company correspondence including phone calls, emails, letters, and packages.
  • Organise customer visits, preparing meeting rooms and lunches.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, completing tasks such as updating pricing and generating reports.
  • Coordinate samples to customers and assist with email marketing campaigns.
  • Be the first point of contact for website enquiries and online reviews.
  • Assist in organising and attending trade shows both locally and nationally.
  • Cover order processing during times of absence.

You:

  • Proven experience in an administrative and customer service role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation is desirable.
