Reed Tutors is seeking a dedicated Tutor to provide 14 hours of tuition per week across key GCSE subjects including English, Maths, Science, Geography, and ICT. This role is particularly suited to individuals with experience in supporting students with additional needs, such as ADHD.
Day-to-day of the role:- Conduct tutoring sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
- Prepare and deliver engaging, educational content tailored to the needs of a student with ADHD.
- Monitor and record the student's progress, adapting teaching methods to suit their learning needs and abilities.
- Provide feedback to students and parents to discuss educational goals and progress.
- Implement strategies to help the student focus and succeed in their studies.
- Proven experience as a Tutor or Teacher, particularly at the GCSE level.
- Strong knowledge of the core subjects: English, Maths, Science, Geography, and ICT.
- Experience working with students who have ADHD or other additional needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess a valid DBS check on the update service.
- Competitive hourly rate of £30 to £35.
