- Ensuring correct on-boarding of employees new starters to leavers.
- Tracking attendance (sickness / holidays etc)
- Keep up to date with HR regulations
- Unsure GDPR practices are followed
- Efficiently handle statutory reports from preparation to submission.
- Weekly and monthly payroll (with deadlines)
- Deal with queries relating to payroll, benefits, and deductions. P11Ds, P60s, etc.
- Prepare and submit required statutory reports
- Keep up to date with payroll policies, update employees when necessary.
- Support the HR team with ad hoc duties (recruitment, disciplinaries, benefits, travel (overseas and UK) onboarding and off-boarding)
- Currently studying or who has studied CIPD (Desirable)
- Experienced and comfortable with both HR and Payroll
- Communication skills, written and verbal
- Knowledge of UK payroll legislation (including PAYE, NI, STAT PAYMENTS, PENSIONS)
