Well known service business based in the Manchester City Centre area requires a payroll administrator for their growing team. My client is a national service provider that has its head office in Manchester. Reporting to the payroll manager this role offers a motivated working environment, my client is heavily invested in its people. This role is also hybrid after a period of training.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager duties for this role include:

  • running multiple payrolls including weekly and monthly
  • dealing with the end-to-end aspects of the payrolls
  • handling all queries in connection to the payrolls
  • handling SSP, SMP, Starters, Leavers, P11D's
  • assisting with the development of the payroll department, looking for ways to improve processes
  • working with Excel, TEAMS, word and outlook
  • working with internal bespoke payroll processes

The right candidate will have;

  • end to end payroll experience
  • working with multiple payrolls with different deadlines
  • excellent IT skills
  • experience of handling end to end queries
  • knowledge of pensions is an advantage but not essential
