Kenton Black are representing a progressive firm with offices in Manchester seeking to appoint a HYBRID Payroll Administrator to work 3 days at home and 2 in the office. You will be joining an established and thriving company that offers the successful Payroll Administrator an exceptional opportunity to join a friendly team. This is a busy, varied role dealing with a varied workload, dealing with HMRC queries and all associated payroll administration duties.

Duties included but not limited to:

  • Working as part of a busy payroll processing team undertaking full end to end weekly/fortnightly/monthly payrolls via Sage/Paycircle (training provided)
  • Auto-enrolment/pensions
  • Dealing with HMRC & client queries over the telephone
  • SMP/SSP
  • Collating and input of payroll information

Person Specification:

  • Experience of running weekly/monthly payrolls end to end ideally within an accountancy/bureau or umbrella environment
  • Auto-enrolment pensions
  • Dealing with BACS submissions
  • Submission of RTI, HMRC queries
  • Ideally experience of SAGE, Paycircle (training can be provided)
  • Excellent client communication skills to deal effectively with payroll queries
  • Friendly and professional disposition, able to work in a team environment
