Payroll Administrator

Part time - 25 hours

3 month contract to Permanent

Middleton, Manchester

Salary £30,000 pro rata

Our client is looking for an experienced payroll administrator to start immediately.

Payroll Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Accounts department in collating and assessing all the payroll information
  • Tracking hours worked for all employees.
  • Chasing numerous departments and sites for hours and timesheets
  • Confirming absenteeism / sickness etc.
  • Entering payroll data into digital systems to send to the corporate head office to process
  • Processing and dispensing employee payslips and P60s

Payroll Assistant / Officer Specific Skills:

  • Good communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal/management skills
  • Above average critical thinking ability
  • Sound knowledge of accounting basics and pensions desirable
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills - Excel , Word and Outlook skills are essential.
  • Ideally experienced in using Payroll Software
  • Experience of HR administration is desirable although not essential.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Good standard of formal education (A level preferred)
  • Above average literacy and numeracy
  • AAT or Part II CIMA/CACA/CA desirable
