My client is a global tech specialist. A Northwest success story built on innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. They have grown both organically and by acquisition. Operating out of a purpose-built campus in South Manchester the business now need to bolster their payroll team with an experienced Payroll Advisor.

You will be joining a hardworking, friendly and collaborative Global Payroll team. This is a fast paced and a changeable environment but highly rewarding. As a Payroll Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll for employees.

Reporting into the Payroll Manager, your varied duties will include:

  • Managing end-to-end payroll processing for a number of payrolls with varying pay frequencies
  • Providing support to employees with any payroll-related inquiries.
  • Performing payroll calculations
  • Keeping up to date with all relevant legislation
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Ensuring salary sacrifice benefits are administered correctly
  • Working as a team to meet Payroll deadlines as part of the wider People function

About you:

  • 3 years experience working in payroll
  • True end-to-end Payroll specialist, ideally with in-house experience
  • Strong excel skills including formulae, pivot tables and Vlookups
  • Positive, can-do attitude and team player
  • Passionate about payroll
  • Ability to work to deadlines with accuracy and manage a busy workload

What's on offer:

  • Basic salary in the region of £30,000-£33,000
  • 4 days in the office and 1 day from home
  • Flexibility on start/finish times - this is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week
