Due to expansion we have a new an immediate opportunity for a HR /Payroll Administrator to join one of our established clients in the Walkden Area. This is a new and exciting opportunity working on site 39.5 hours per week, hours 7- 5pm or 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday with an earlier finish on Fridays 1pm. Paying a competitive salary of £25K -£30k per annum.

What will you be doing as a HR/Payroll Administrator?

This is a completely new role within the team, so they are looking for a suitable candidate who has experience within HR Administration and Payroll

  • Updating candidates personnel files
  • Sending out interview letters, contracts of employment
  • Making any amendments to contracts of employment
  • Arranging interviews and sending out information
  • Recording sickness and holidays
  • Being the point of contact for any health and safety issues, advice and guidance etc
  • Updating records to do with licenses, training, certificates etc
  • Overseeing weekly timesheets for approx. 40 members of staff
  • Checking off timesheets have been signed and authorised before approval
  • Processing the payroll through Sage line 50
  • Manually working out overtime and doing the HMRC calculations

  • It would be great to hear from candidates who have experience working within a HR Administrative Role.
  • Experience within payroll, processing timesheets using a finance system
  • Strong administrative experience
  • Any experience working with timesheets and attendance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Used to working in a fast paced role
