Description
The key responsibilities of a Payroll Specialist will include:
- Overseeing end-to-end payroll operations.
- Ensuring all payments are accurate and made in a timely manner.
- Resolving payroll-related queries from staff.
- Updating payroll records with changes such as salary increases, promotions, or leavers.
- Collaborating with the HR department to ensure seamless payroll administration.
- Complying with all relevant legislation and regulations pertaining to payroll.
- Producing reports for senior management as required.
- Continually developing and improving payroll procedures.
Profile
A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
- Proven experience in a payroll position ideally in-house
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent numerical skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations.
