Description
The key responsibilities of a Payroll Specialist will include:
- Assist in the efficient running of the payroll department.
- Process payroll adjustments and ensure accurate payroll records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll expenses.
- Support in the preparation of year-end reports and P60s.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the implementation of new payroll systems and processes.
- Participate in payroll-related projects as required.
Profile
A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
- Working knowledge of payroll systems and procedures.
- Knowledge of manual calculations
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
