Payroll Supervisor- 6 month FTC (potential to go perm) - Upto £37,000 Excellent Benefits - West ManchesterAxon Moore  is proud to be representing this high growth, business based in West Manchester, in the search of a Payroll Supervisor for a 6month FTC (potential to go perm). This role will be managing a team of 1 so previous experience in managing people would be preferred, along with full end to end Payroll experience. Great beneifts package on offer. This role is Immediate start to ensure a handover period. Knowledge in other areas in Finance would be desirable if this person wanted to work full time hoursRole and Responsibilities
  • Reporting and statutory filings (P14/P60, P11D, P45, New Starters, FPS, EPS)
  • Managing a team of 2
  • Ensure all records are kept up to date and filing of all documents is done to agreed timescales.
  • Ensure all statutory reporting is completed to the highest standards within
           legislation deadlines.
  • Processing of payroll deductions (Childcare, Pension, Union, Court Orders, GAYE,etc...)
  • Completion of pension schedule and subsequent loading of pension data onto pension administrator web site and ensure compliance with Auto enrolment legislation.
  • Processing of Monthly Statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP etc…), & ensuring all deductions are carried out correctly for NI and paid to correct authorities on time.
  • Ad Hoc reporting to both internal and external clients.
  • Esnure expenses (credit card & cash) are in line with the expenses guidelines
  • Casual Payroll - ensure all payments are alligned with Casual contracts and correct treatment of PAYE & NI.
  • Work with 3rd party payroll partners to ensure overseas payroll payments are correctly made
  • Assist Payroll Manager with production of company benefits and any other ad hoc queries.
Knowledge, skills and experience
  • Atleast 3-5 years end to end Payroll experience
  • Part / fully qualifed CIPP Qualification would be desirable
  • Previous management experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Experience with processing payrolls & dealing with Tax, NI & Pension
  • Confidentiality at all times
  • Great communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise
  • Flexible and adaptable in approach to work
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Select Payroll (Not Essential)
  • Knowledge in other areas in Finance would be desribvale if this person wanted to work full time hours
