Your new companyYou will be joining a leading accountancy firm located in the heart of Manchester city centre, with over 20 years experience. They specialise in services ranging from accounts, bookkeeping, tax, payroll and more, where you can further your practice career, working alongside a wide pool of accounting professionals. With continuous growth and opportunities with the firm, a senior payroll associate job has now arisen, with clear progression pathways and hybrid working.Your new roleYou will be working alongside the payroll division at this firm, within a team of 4 other professionals who you will be assisting and working with daily. General duties will see you overseeing the rest of the team, reporting into your manager, acting as a point of contact between the junior members of staff. Day to day duties will consist of ensuring that CIS submissions are filed, onboarding new clients from start to finish, acting as the first point of contact for the portfolio, ensuring relationships are maintained. You will also be involved with helping the head of payroll with building the workflow, processing new starters and leavers and more. You will be assigned ad hoc duties as well, posting journals online and fee work and data analysis. What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role, you will need prior experience of working within a bureau environment, processing payrolls from start to finish. Along with this, you will need to offer a 'can do' attitude and show a willingness to both learn and progress within a role.What you'll get in returnYou will be offered a flexible salary ranging between £28,000 to £32,000 dependent upon experience, whilst working with a practice that will assist you daily to continuously develop in your role.
