Role Overview:We are looking for a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas appliances in both residential and commercial properties, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair gas appliances, including boilers, cookers, and heaters.
- Conduct gas safety checks and inspections.
- Assemble and weld gas pipes using hand tools.
- Provide advice on energy efficiency and safety measures.
- Respond promptly to emergency call-outs.
- Perform general plumbing work as required.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven mechanical knowledge and experience with gas systems.
- Proficiency in using power tools.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems.
- Experience with heat pump installation.
- Commercial gas qualifications (desirable).
Additional Skills (Nice-to-Have):
- Commercial driving experience for equipment transport.
- Carpentry skills for fitting gas appliances.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Minimum 40 hours per week
