Our client is a rapidly expanding company committed to providing safe and reliable access to medications across various healthcare settings. They work with NHS Trusts, Unscheduled Care, and Primary Care, primarily serving Community and Mental Health Trusts from their network of pharmacies and WDA-licensed premises in London, Gloucester, and the West Midlands.

Now, they’re expanding to Manchester and need skilled individuals to join their mission.

The Role

As a PharmacyDispenser, you’ll play a key role in the pharmacy team. Working alongside pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and the Greater Manchester Mental Health team, you will support effective treatment and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense medications and pharmaceutical products based on prescriptions and hospital protocols
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and managing pharmaceutical inventory
  • Provide top-notch customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, addressing queries and offering medication-related advice
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and hospital guidelines during dispensing activities
  • Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications while handling patient information with confidentiality
  • Support the pharmacy team with administrative and operational tasks when needed

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Level 2 NVQ in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy dispensing role is desirable, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in medication dispensing
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage responsibilities independently
  • Familiarity with hospital pharmacy software and systems is advantageous
