Role Description

  • Deliver efficient dispensary operations and minimize dispensing losses.
  • Ensure accurate handling and dispensing of all medicines - NHS and private.
  • Comply with legal and professional requirements and Company SOPs.
  • Assist in the delivery of all pharmacy services where appropriate.
  • Provide safe and accurate advice on medicines to customers and patients, including OTC medication.
  • Manage all aspects of the dispensing role, including ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, and endorsing with appropriate claims.

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services / Dispensing Assistant qualifications completed via a GPhC accredited route.
  • Experience working in a community pharmacy, ideally with experience using Pharmacy Manager software.
  • Possession of a working NHS Smartcard.
