Job Description:We are seeking a motivated and experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Community Neuro/Stroke Team at Alexandra Health Centre. This role involves providing specialized care to patients recovering from neurological conditions or strokes in a community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions or recovering from strokes.
- Provide physiotherapy interventions to enhance mobility, function, and quality of life.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Offer education and advice to patients, families, and carers to support recovery and independence.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with professional standards.
Requirements:
- Honours degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council (HCPC).
- Clinical supervisory skills.
- Experience working in a community setting.
- Previous experience in neuro or stroke teams.
