Salary: £38,000 - £40,000

Location: Stretford (4 days in office, 1 day working from home)

Contract: Permanent, full time hours

Our client is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage a portfolio of high-profile, high-value clients, with a total portfolio value of up to £5 million. The successful candidate will engage with high-level procurement and contract teams, focusing on future revenue and profit potential, and significant cross-regional account activities. This role offers the opportunity to drive data-driven decision-making, ensure meticulous record-keeping, and act as business consultants and industry experts, providing valuable insights and guidance to clients.

What you'll do:

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-profile clients worth up to £5 million. You will develop comprehensive account strategies, resolve major client conflicts, manage relationships with senior stakeholders, utilise data for decision-making, prepare detailed reports for senior management, secure contract renewals, negotiate pricing, manage contracts end-to-end, act as a business consultant, focus on continuous improvement opportunities for client retention and renewal, capture high-level details regarding the account.

* Full ownership of a portfolio up to £5 million.

* Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies and improvement plans.

* Conduct escalation meetings and resolve major client conflicts.

* Manage relationships with senior stakeholders.

* Utilise data to inform decisions and strategies.

* Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.

* Secure renewals, negotiate pricing, and manage contracts end-to-end.

* Act as a business consultant and industry expert.

* Focus on continuous improvement opportunities to ensure client retention and renewal.

* Capture high-level details regarding the account.
