About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our Reactive Repairs Team within a social housing environment. This role involves working on a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across a portfolio of occupied properties, so strong technical and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of both internal and external plastering and rendering techniques. You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, depending on the size and complexity of the tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out plastering and rendering repairs across social housing properties.
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicating effectively with residents to ensure minimal disruption during repairs.
- Collaborating with colleagues when required, as well as working autonomously when necessary.
- Receiving and managing work orders via a mobile device.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Qualification in Plastering (or equivalent).
- Experience with both internal and external plaster & render finishes.
- Basic DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
- Own hand tools required (Note: 240v tools are not permitted).
- Previous experience in social housing maintenance is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.

Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Overtime opportunities available upon agreement.
