Commercial Maintenance Plumber
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Benefits: Paid weekly, overtime available, annual bonuses, company pension, 4 weeks sick pay, tools, mobile phone, tablet, and company van +fuel card (available for personal use)
Hours: 40-hour work week
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (30 minutes travel each way)
Call Out: 1 in 13 weeks
Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Plumber to join our team, covering primarily prisons and some schools. The role involves Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs), plant room work, and occasional installations. You’ll need to be comfortable working in secure environments such as prisons, maintaining high standards of professionalism and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PPMs across plant rooms and plumbing systems
- Handle very rarely amounts of installation work
- working in plant rooms
- Respond to plumbing emergencies and call-outs (1 in every 13 weeks)
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within set deadlines
- Use the provided mobile phone and tablet to manage tasks
- Maintain all tools and equipment provided
