Our client, a successful IFA firm, are looking for a Head of Advice Policy. This person would ensure delivery against consumer duty obligations and champion consumer interests. The role has the responsibility to oversee the development and implementation of advice policies, to ensure alignment with regulatory and business standards.
The ideal candidate will work remotely but with the ability to travel where necessary.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Advice Policy Development: define and implement advice policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with best practices.
- Stakeholder Management: maintain relationships and serve as liaison with third-party product providers to secure resources for training and education.
- Training and Support: deliver training and provide support and resources to advisors to meet consumer needs effectively.
- Governance and Compliance: hold accountability for consumer duty delivery, chair the proposition committee providing strategic support, and ensure regulatory compliance across all proposition and advice policies.
- Strategic Leadership: work with senior leaders to align strategic goals, leverage market insights and competitor research to inform prioritisation of development, and provide strategic direction for advice policy.

- Salary: up to 90k

Do you have the following to apply:
- Level 4 Diploma qualification (or equivalent) essential, advanced qualifications preferable.
- Extensive experience in product proposition and advice policy development within a regulated environment.
- Deep knowledge of the financial services industry and the advice process.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements affecting product and advice policy development.
