Partnerships ManagerLocation: Manchester (Hybrid, 2 days per week at GMP HQ)Contract: 3-month temporary contract, potential for extensionHours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per weekScreening: Enhanced DBS required (NPPV – Level 2 not required but advantageous)About the Role Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Partnerships Manager to join their team in Manchester on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with statutory, third-sector, and voluntary organisations to enhance the effective delivery of services within the justice sector.This is a fast-paced role that requires a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders. The role also involves managing students, so experience in mentoring, training, or supervision would be highly beneficial.Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain positive relationships with statutory agencies, local authorities, third-sector organisations, and community partners to improve service provision.
  • Representation: Attend multi-agency meetings, stakeholder events, and strategic forums to represent the organisation and advocate for service users.
  • Service Delivery Support: Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure service users receive appropriate interventions, support, and advocacy.
  • Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of partner organisations to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.
  • Training & Development: Provide presentations, briefings, and training sessions to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of the services available.
  • Safeguarding & Risk Management: Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed, escalating concerns where necessary.
  • Strategic Development: Contribute to the ongoing development of partnership strategies to improve long-term service outcomes.
About YouThe ideal candidate will be a confident and strategic professional with a strong background in stakeholder management, partnership development, and justice sector services. 
  • Experience in multi-agency collaboration, ideally within the justice, social care, or third sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, capable of managing multiple partnerships and reporting on impact.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders to enhance service provision.
  • Experience in mentoring, training, or managing students would be a strong advantage.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently and within a team.
