Description
The role of Planning Manager will be responsible for:
- Ensure product availability by effectively managing procurement and supply chain processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Identify and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast product demand.
- Monitor market trends and assess their impact on supply chain activities.
- Maintain compliance with industry and company standards.
- Lead and manage a team, promoting a positive work environment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement and supply chain processes.
Profile
A successful Planning Manager should have:
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
