What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage electrical, mechanical, and building services across the hospital.
  • Act as an Authorised Person for key estate systems, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
  • Respond to estate emergencies, activating escalation plans when required.
  • Oversee planned maintenance, emergency repairs, and capital projects to keep the hospital running smoothly.
  • Manage and develop a team of skilled estates staff and contractors.
  • Provide technical advice to teams, ensuring best practices and high safety standards.
  • Control budgets, manage service contracts, and drive cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure all estate records, audits, and compliance requirements are met.
  • Works as part of a larger estates management team where you will be supported and offered good progression opportunities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong Technicl background - ideally electrical - in large commercial systems (the site features UPS, HV and LV)
  • Experience in facilities in a live customer environment
  • Good people person able to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to motivate a team of engineers and lead from the front
