Town Planning Director - Manchester

Penguin Recruitment is supporting a top multi-disciplinary consultancy in hiring an experienced Town Planning Director to expand their Planning and Environmental team in the North.

As a leader in planning and infrastructure delivery, the team works on major UK projects across water, rail, HS2, road schemes, energy, and housing developments. The role involves growing and leading a team of Planners across Manchester, Leeds, and Sheffield, and driving collaboration across Planning, Environment, and Infrastructure departments.

Key Requirements:

  • RTPI-accredited degree/postgraduate qualification and Chartered membership of RTPI.
  • Extensive experience in consultancy and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of planning law, procedures, and commercial awareness.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
