Overview: A one-off opportunity for a Paid Media Manager to join the Paid Media team at an events and festival accelerator agency that connects audiences and drives ticket sales for some of the most well-loved music events and international brands. The agency is a forward-thinking, creative-first performance marketing and events agency with clients across the world.

Role: Reporting directly to the Head of Paid Media, this position is for a passionate and highly experienced professional with at least 4 years of experience in paid media buying, strategy, analysis, and budget management. You will be responsible for creating and delivering world-class paid media campaigns that help our client base and internal festivals exceed their ticket sales targets.

You will manage a Paid Media Executive and work closely with Festival Marketing Managers and Designers. This role includes strategy, implementation, optimisation, reporting, and managing client relationships across multiple campaigns, including external clients and internal projects.

Responsibilities:

Campaign Management:

  • Implement and manage paid social media advertising and PPC campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, and others like TikTok, Snapchat, and Twitter as needed.
  • Efficiently manage campaign budgets to meet KPIs and ensure a high Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimise channel effectiveness, including planning, prioritisation, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the creative, social, and strategy teams to deliver cutting-edge campaigns.

Client Relations:

  • Provide weekly performance reports using the agency’s existing framework to ensure accurate attribution.
  • Offer recommendations for ongoing campaign improvements.
  • Participate in weekly client calls to discuss strategy, budgets, and metrics.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients and platform representatives.

Leadership:

  • Work with the new business team to develop proposals using the agency's framework.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency in paid media while managing the paid media side of the business.
  • Manage and mentor the Paid Media Executive, with potential team expansion as targets are met.
  • Contribute to thought leadership by representing the agency at industry events and presenting on paid media strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with competitors and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in paid media buying, strategy, and budget management.
  • Proven success in managing paid media campaigns, ideally in the music, events, or entertainment sectors.
  • Expertise in managing large-scale campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, and other platforms.
  • Experience with third-party data tools such as Supermetrics for Google Sheets or Data Studio.
  • Ability to manage large client budgets, including six-figure monthly spends.
  • Strong knowledge of campaign targeting, remarketing, and cross-channel attribution.
  • Proven experience in client presentations and managing client expectations.
  • Experience managing a team member.

Location: Hybrid, Manchester-based with 2 days in office.
