The Role

As a Teacher of Humanities, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in History and RE to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 teaching may also be available for the right candidate).
  • Inspire students with creative and engaging teaching strategies, fostering a love for learning in Humanities subjects.
  • Plan and deliver a curriculum that meets national standards and enables all students to achieve their potential.
  • Use data and assessment to inform teaching and ensure progress for all learners, including SEND and high-achieving students.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Have a strong academic background and subject knowledge in History and Religious Education.
  • Be an innovative and reflective practitioner committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, fostering an environment where every student can thrive.
