Milk Education are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to support one of our partner schools on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is creative, adaptable and keen to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Support children's emotional and social development, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing feedback to both students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan, assess and improve teaching and learning
  • Participate in school events and contribute to the overall ethos of the school

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a valid UK teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
  • Has a sound understanding of the KS1 curriculum and best teaching practices
  • Demonstrates a passion for working with young children and fostering a love for learning
  • Is an excellent communicator, both with pupils and staff
