The Role:They are seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 6 teacher to take on a full-time role starting on 24th February 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students in their learning, and ensuring they are well-prepared for the transition to secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Provide a stimulating and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
  • Monitor and track students’ progress, providing feedback and setting targets.
  • Support the social, emotional, and academic development of each child.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the needs of the students.
  • Maintain effective classroom management.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.- ECT accpeted.
  • Experience teaching Year 6, with a good understanding of SATs requirements.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for teaching and helping children reach their potential.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team.
