Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: £140 - £180 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Duration: Ongoing/Ad-hoc contract
Job Role
We are seeking experienced and passionate QTS School Teachers to join a vibrant school in Manchester on an immediate basis. This role will involve working as a Cover Supply Teacher, covering classes across different year groups. You’ll be delivering pre-planned lessons, ensuring the students continue to receive high-quality education during the absence of the regular teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Working collaboratively with school staff and providing consistent support to students.
- Completing any necessary administrative tasks related to the classes being covered.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and at least 1-2 years of teaching experience in a UK primary school.
- Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS Check (must be in place or willing to apply for one).
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
- A commitment to providing high-quality education in a supportive environment.
