We are currently recruiting Core Subject Graduate Teaching Assistants to support primary school pupils in a variety of schools.
This role is ideal for graduates who want to build a career in education and have a passion for helping young learners achieve their full potential. As part of our team, you will have the chance to work closely with teachers to deliver focused support in core subjects, assist with lesson planning, and contribute to raising pupil attainment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to primary school pupils, focusing on core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.
- Assist with delivering intervention sessions to help pupils reach their academic targets.
- Support the classroom teacher in planning and preparing lessons and resources.
- Help create an engaging and positive learning environment.
- Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers.
- Foster strong relationships with pupils to build their confidence and academic ability.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A recent graduate with a degree in a core subject (English, Maths).
- A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and a passion for supporting children's learning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with young learners.
- Motivated, adaptable, and willing to contribute to the wider school community.
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting is a bonus but not essential.
