A Primary SEN School in Tameside is seeking a HLTA to start after February half-term.

Your new company

Are you a HLTA on the lookout for your next role? If so, I could have the perfect role for you. A primary school located in Tameside is on the hunt for a HLTA to assist with KS2 and have approached Hays looking to secure a committed and reliable individual. This will be on a temporary ongoing basis and the school is looking for someone to work full-time to support with covering classes and providing additional academic support.

Your new role

This role is to support class teachers who need to take time out of their days to plan and prepare lessons, as well as provide intervention sessions for pupils who are behind or struggling with their work. When supporting the class teacher, you will be required to cover lessons when they are absent and work with them to create intervention work for pupils who are struggling. You will be required to work across a range of KS2 classes, so you should be flexible and adaptable in your approach.Experience working as a HLTA is preferred.What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in securing this position, you should have higher level TA experience as well as full class cover experience. You should be enthusiastic, approachable and be able to hit the ground running. Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum is preferred. However, the school will also consider NQT/ECT's.
