KS2 TA Intervention Lead - Fallowfield

Educate GM’s partner school in Fallowfield, Manchester is looking for a Year 5/6 Teaching Assistant Intervention Lead, to join their flourishing, diverse school. An Intervention Lead in a school plays a crucial role in supporting students who face academic or behavioural challenges.

The role is full-time, for the full academic year and will commence ASAP. This fulfilling opportunity will pay £90-£105 a day, depending on experience.

The Manchester Primary School seeks someone passionate about helping children develop and help them get the most out of their learning. Exceptional communication skills are necessary. You will be required to take children out for group interventions, and 1:1 sessions and support the class teacher in daily classroom tasks such as setting up daily resources. This role will include supporting children with SEND. The perfect candidate will be someone enthusiastic, caring, and genuinely passionate about making a difference in children's school lives.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A Teaching Assistant Qualification -Level 2 or working towards Level 3

  • Experience working with SEND
  • Great behaviour management
  • Empathy, care and patience
  • Positive attitude
