Tradewind is currently seeking compassionate Teaching Assistants to join one of our esteemed primary schools in West Didsbury. This part-time position as a Teaching Assistant is available to start ASAP and may run for one academic term, with the potential to extend into the next academic year. The daily rate is £84-£90, depending on experience.

About You:The successful candidate will support the progress of a high-achieving class while collaborating with the class teacher to assist children with additional needs in group settings and one-on-one.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Providing tailored support to pupils with learning challenges
  • Preparing teaching materials and organising resources
  • Building positive relationships with students, fostering trust and respect
  • Collaborating with staff to share best practices and resources

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong references highlighting experience in KS1/KS2
  • Full employment history
  • Legal right to work in the UK
