We are recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant for a special needs primary school in the Trafford area!
Role - Primary Teaching Assistant (SEND) at special needs primary school in Trafford.
Times - Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm.
Contract - Start ASAP, full time, possible temporary to permanent for right person.
Pay - Up to £90/day for first 12 weeks, pay review at 13th week. Paid PAYE via Tradewind.
The School & Pupils
- Special Needs Primary school in the Trafford area.
- All students have an EHCP for Autism, Complex Needs, SLD or PMLD.
- All students working at lower levels than expected for their age.
- Class sizes of no more than 10 pupils including TA support.
- Long standing & supportive management.
- Students are grouped by similar needs and levels rather than by age.
- Collaborative teamwork atmosphere.

Requirements

- Manage challenging behaviour and emotions.
- Working collaboratively with other Teaching Assistants, management, parents and outside agencies.
- Must promote a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
To join us and be successful in this Primary Teaching Assistant (SEND) role in Trafford, you will need to:
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate that is on the Update Service (or be happy to pay for a new one).
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
- Minimum of two professional references checks.
- Provide a CV with full education & work.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Some experience supporting children with special needs.
