Teaching Assistant - Burnley:
Prospero Teaching are actively recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in the Burnley area. This role is essential in fostering an engaging learning environment, helping students to thrive both academically and socially. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in supporting children in a school setting and will be prepared to take on various responsibilities, including leading interventions and covering classes in the absence of teachers.
Key Responsibilites-
- Supporting students in small groups or on a 1-2-1 basis
- Effective communication between staff, students and parents
- Encouraging positive behaviour and learning
Position Details-
- Role: Teaching Assistant
- Hours: 8am-3:30pm
- Type of work: Temporary
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
- Location: Burnley
- Minimum rate of pay: £85 per day dependant on experience
Experience, Training and Qualifications-
- Teaching Assistant experience or an equivalent qualification is required
- Up to date Safeguarding training in the last year (desirable but training can be provided if necessary)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
