Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant (Psychology Graduates)

About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated psychology graduates to join our team as Teaching Assistants. This role is ideal for individuals looking to apply their psychology knowledge in a practical setting, supporting students' learning and emotional well-being. You will work closely with teachers and other educational professionals to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with additional learning needs
- Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities
- Support students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges
- Foster positive relationships and encourage student engagement
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies
- Monitor and report on student progress
- Help maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment
What We're Looking For:
- A degree in Psychology or a related field
- Passionate about working with children and young people with additional needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with students and staff
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient
- Experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
- A desire to pursue a career in education, psychology, or mental health

- A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
