About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated psychology graduates to join our team as Teaching Assistants. This role is ideal for individuals looking to apply their psychology knowledge in a practical setting, supporting students' learning and emotional well-being. You will work closely with teachers and other educational professionals to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with additional learning needs
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities
  • Support students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges
  • Foster positive relationships and encourage student engagement
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies
  • Monitor and report on student progress
  • Help maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Passionate about working with children and young people with additional needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students and staff
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • Experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
  • A desire to pursue a career in education, psychology, or mental health
