An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Finance Director to join a rapidly expanding, high-growth international technology company. As the business continues to invest and scale globally, this role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you can drive commercial strategy, financial reporting, and team development while enhancing international tax compliance.

This is a progressive role that blends strategic business partnering with hands-on financial leadership. You will play a key role in shaping the finance function, delivering insightful financial analysis, and implementing robust controls to support ongoing business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and commercial pricing.
  • Oversee revenue recognition and financial analysis across UK and international entities.
  • Develop and implement enhanced reporting frameworks to support decision-making, including sales and marketing forecasts and business performance assessments.
  • Utilise commercial data and predictive analytics to drive key business decisions and evaluate ROI on strategic projects.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ensure full UK and international tax compliance, including VAT, corporation tax, International sales tax and lead a review of transfer pricing policies.
  • Play a pivotal role in recruiting, developing, and mentoring the finance team to enhance capabilities and retention.
  • Work closely with the CFO to strengthen financial controls and processes, ensuring best-in-class financial operations.
  • Manage internal and external audits, ensuring the integrity of financial and revenue reporting.
