Cedar Recruitment are currently supporting a Public Health client who are looking to hire a Procurement Manager to work on a permanent basis. This role is offering a salary of between £30,000 up to £40,000 per annum. This role will operate on primarily a remote basis with the expectation to be in the office 1 day per month plus potential key meetings as and when required.

The successful candidate will lead on a range of high value end to end procurement projects across the Health Category (typically between 2-4 projects at a time) for key clients that the organisation engages with. This will be from scoping the requirement to contract award stage.

You will be required to mange high quality and customer focused, procurement projects and ensure positive, collaborative and supportive relationships with internal and external stakeholders are developed throughout.

You will also be required to develop and identify any additional existing and future opportunities which can be supported within the external partners.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience of working within a Procurement and/or Category Management role
  • Experience running end to end procurement projects across the public sector in line with PCR2015
  • Experience of running procurement's via open routes (tenders)
  • Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
