We’re looking for an enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to join one of the UK’s leading healthcare software solutions groups, qualifying marketing leads and performing cold calls to potential clients with the objective of booking highly qualified software demonstrations for their business development team.
About the role
The role will be a hybrid office/home based position focusing on generating leads within the UK pharmacy sector which will involve cold calling and outreach, appointment setting, relationship building, reporting and market research.
Your skills and experience….
- You are an enthusiastic and positive sales professional who has experience in a sales development or lead generation role ideally within the software industry.
- You will ideally have worked in a sales/call centre or customer service environment, work well in a team and have a strong empathy for customers.
- You can confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business, working to deliver against targets set by the business.
- You will have excellent communication and call handling skills along with the ability to influence through persuasion.
- You are motivated by delivering exceptional customer service.
- You are naturally confident and resilient.
- You are proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- You are competent using a variety of IT including MS Office.
It would also be nice if you had the following but it’s not essential….
- Understanding of the UK pharmacy sector and its operational challenges
- Familiarity with email marketing tools and techniques
- Ability to use social media platforms for lead generation and engagement
- Experience in attending industry events and networking with potential clients
- Sales or marketing certifications (e.g., HubSpot Sales Software Certification).

Other Info
This is a permanent, full time role of 35 hours per week (as a guide working 3 days in the Buckshaw office and 2 days at home)
Salary package ranging between £25-£32k dependent on experience plus bonus of up to £20k, plus a great range of other benefits.
