Product Manager (Comms)
A leading firm in Manchester is looking for an innovative Product Manager to oversee the portfolio specific products. They're looking for someone with a blend of technical proficiency and core product management skills to lead and ensure the growth continues.
It's a super exciting time to join, with recent funding to further their growth, meaning this vacancy could transform into "Head of Communication Products" if you're able to demonstrate clear leadership and drive.
You'll play a vital role in driving customer uptake, and ensuring the current products are performing to the highest extent, along with generating new products if proven successful.
This is a hybrid / remote based role, but it's completely up to you. A good portion of the team are in 1-2 days a week, but the flexibility is there to decide how you work best.
How will your day-to-day look like?
*Creating and managing the product roadmap for communications.
*Pay close attention to market trends and customer needs for product decisions.
*Cross-collaboration with internal teams to align with the bigger picture.
Bringing Products to life
*Lead the process from concept to launch, then monitor beyond to track performance.
*Work with engineers and designers to build products that customers will love.
*Handle relationships with vendors ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Consumer-based Development
*Communicate with customers to understand challenges and build solutions.
*Use feedback and market research to improve and innovate.
*Build lasting relationships with clients to stay ahead of their needs.
Supporting Sales and Marketing
*Collaborate on go-to-market strategies and help create compelling marketing materials.
*Represent the company at industry events and share with potential stakeholders / consumers what makes your product stand out.
What Would Make Me Qualified For This Role?
*You'll need solid experience in the comms industry, think UC/UCaaS or VoIP.
*A background in Product Management, with examples of delivering successful comms products.
*Leadership and communication ability is a must, you'll be working with all kinds of people so it's vital you are able to translate your work into layman's terms for non-technical people.
*Familiarity with Microsoft or Google Tools would be a bonus.
