DCS engineering are currently recruiting a highly experience NDT inspector for one of clients who are a leading provider of high-quality metal fabrication and welding services. The specialise in delivering exceptional craftsmanship and innovative solutions to their customers across various industries. They have a strong focus on developing their staff with potential for advancements in their career within the business.

They need a highly skilled, detail-oriented NDT Level II inspector to support our commitment to quality and safety. The successful candidate will carry out Visual, PFD and X-ray NDT, ensuring our fabricated components meet stringent specification and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform NDT Inspection using techniques such as visual weld inspections, radiographic testing and Dye penetrant testing.
  • Interpret test results to assess the integrity and quality of welds and fabricated components.
  • Ensure all inspections comply with relevant industry standard, customer specification and company procedures.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Collaborate with the fabrication and welding teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Adhere to safety standing and maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Qualifications

  • Certified to EN4179/NAS410 standards in relevant NDT methods (level II or higher preferred)
  • Proven experience in NDT inspection within the welding and fabrication industry.
  • Familiarity with quality standard AS9100.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings sand specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
