Capilaux is Representing a leading multidisciplinary consultancy delivering high-quality projects across construction and trades. We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team, working on a variety of projects, including new build residential, retrofit, and external wall remediation across Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, and surrounding areas.
Role Overview:
This role involves ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring workmanship, materials, and compliance with project specifications, ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Monitor and report on workmanship, materials, and site progress to the Project Manager and Principal Contractor.

Prepare and submit detailed reports using tools like Fieldview.

Maintain a comprehensive daily log of site activities, including delays, material issues, and site conditions.

Provide technical guidance to the Project Manager to ensure contracts stay on schedule.

Ensure alignment between drawings, specifications, and project documents, including pre-construction reviews if necessary.

Report and document any incidents or quality concerns that may impact project timelines.

Attend project sites regularly, ensuring adherence to contract requirements and quality expectations.
Ideal Candidate:

Must have a valid UK driving license and access to a car.

Experience in new build residential, retrofit, and external wall remediation.

Background as a Quality Control Inspector, Assistant Site Manager, or Site Manager.

Chartership (e.g., CIOB or ICWCI membership) is desirable but not essential (must be willing to work towards it).

Strong proficiency in modern technology, including tablets and Fieldview software.

Ideally located within Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, or Sheffield for efficient travel to multiple sites.
