Quality Inspector

***THIS ROLE IS INITIALLY TEMP ONGOING BUT COULD LEAD TO PERM

Our client is looking for a machine shop inspector to join the team.

General duties are

• To oversee the running of the inspection department and interface with production and management at all levels.
• The candidate will have experience in mechanical engineering and a machine shop and production environment.
• Ideally qualified to HNC, but experience is also desirable.
• Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
• CMM programming
• Create reports such as First Article Inspection (FAIR)
• Understanding of different measuring techniques
• Oversee calibration requirements.
• Able to work with Microsoft products (Word, Excel and Outlook)

The role is on days and is paying 18 to 20 per hour, The role is initally temporary but could lead to a permanent role for the right person.
