Are you a Mechanical Engineer with power generation experience looking to step up into a rewarding supervisory role where you will oversee all maintenance inthe north patch, within an industry leading landfill operation company?

My client is a leading company in the power generation industry. they are a multimillion-pound waste company with a reputation of looking after their staff. They are looking for a mechanical supervisor to join and help their success.

This is hands on supervisory role where you will be maintaining power generation equipment, while leading a team of engineers and conducting supervisory duties.

The ideal candidate will be a well-equipped Mechanical Engineer looking to enhance their supervisory experience with a company that provides excellent benefits, with a day-based role and excellent annual bonuses.

The role:

  • Supervisory duties - health and safety management, operational performance reviews, team leadership.
  • Preventative, reactive and breakdown maintenance of power generation systems and landfill sites
  • Manchester based with site visits.
  • Generous salary, health care plans, bonuses and day work (no nights or on call).


The candidate -

  • Mechanically biased engineer, with time served or qualified. (City and Guilds, NVQ)
  • Experience in the servicing and maintenance of generators, plant process maintenance and diagnostics or engines.
  • Looking for a rewarding role with an excellent package in an industry leading organisation.
