Location: Manchester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Project Manager to join a dynamic Project Management team based in Manchester. This role is ideal for a motivated and ambitious individual with up to 1-2 years of experience, looking to develop their career in a client-facing environment.

The successful candidate will receive mentorship from experienced colleagues, work alongside graduates and trainees, and take part in a structured APC training programme. Some UK travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities for the Graduate Project Manager:

  • Supporting the delivery of projects from inception to completion
  • Engaging with clients and assisting in maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to project management strategies and delivery plans
  • Assisting in establishing project processes and systems
  • Supporting the production of cost plans, feasibility studies, and option appraisals
  • Assisting with change management tracking and reporting
  • Supporting risk management and value management processes
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants
  • Attending and contributing to meetings

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise for the Graduate Project Manager:

  • Up to 1-2 years' experience
  • Strong people skills with excellent verbal & written skills too.
  • Commercial awareness
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts (desirable)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
