Job Title: Graduate Project Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: 25,000 - 30,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Project Manager to join a dynamic Project Management team based in Manchester. This role is ideal for a motivated and ambitious individual with up to 1-2 years of experience, looking to develop their career in a client-facing environment.
The successful candidate will receive mentorship from experienced colleagues, work alongside graduates and trainees, and take part in a structured APC training programme. Some UK travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities for the Graduate Project Manager:
- Supporting the delivery of projects from inception to completion
- Engaging with clients and assisting in maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to project management strategies and delivery plans
- Assisting in establishing project processes and systems
- Supporting the production of cost plans, feasibility studies, and option appraisals
- Assisting with change management tracking and reporting
- Supporting risk management and value management processes
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants
- Attending and contributing to meetings
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise for the Graduate Project Manager:
- Up to 1-2 years' experience
- Strong people skills with excellent verbal & written skills too.
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts (desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
