This is in opportunity to join a well-respected housing association and their investment team as a HIA Project Leader. This role is going to be mainly focused within the delivery of the disabled adaptations to the housing associations properties and privately-owned properties.

The role of HIA Project Leader includes:
- Delivering multiple construction projects concurrently from inception to completion.
- Working closely with Occupational Therapists to deliver adaptations to properties that meet customers' needs through the care plan package of works.
- Being responsible for the compliance with current building regulations and statutory legislation to ensure that contract works can be effectively procured.
- Being responsible for financial and procurement controls and agree and approve valuations, variations, payments and invoices.
- Effectively managing a multidisciplinary team to provide a high-level adaptations service.
- Managing two building surveyors, one HIA Technician and one Handyperson on Adaptations
To be successful in the role of HIA Project Leader:
- Hold a building surveying qualification or have equivalent, relevant professional experience.
- SMSTS qualification or other equivalent Health and Safety qualification.
- Experience of procurement, cost evaluation and project control and an understanding of contractor performance within a social housing environment.
- The ability to balance conflicting priorities to meet targets and deliver successful project outcomes.
- Experience of developing and implementing new procedures and new ways of working.
