Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a track record of delivering high-value projects?
Contract Scotland are working with a reputable, Glasgow based, main contractor to source an experienced Project Manager, initially to lead a prestigious residential development in Manchester. This project will run for the next year, after which you will join their Glasgow based team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking company who specialise in providing a fully comprehensive construction experience, and place great importance on providing quality service and maintaining a positive reputation within the industry.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Ensuring that site records are produced and maintained accurately and that commercial opportunities are identified.
- Taking responsibility for the construction programme and ensuring that it is accurately maintained.
- Producing client progress reports.
- Ensuring everyone on site is sufficiently trained and identifying any areas of development.
- Creating and maintaining strong working relationships with clients.
- Leading project review meetings.
- Ensuring specified quality standards are understood and achieved.
- Organising construction phase sign off and handoff with client.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Demonstrable main contracting experience on construction projects valued over £15m.
- Proven management experience on residential sites, ideally high-rise.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and contract management experience.
- A willingness and readiness to work away from home in Manchester Mon-Thurs.
