The Role:
As a Project Manager, you will oversee projects from design to handover, driving efficiency, ensuring safety, and exceeding client expectations. You'll collaborate with site teams, surveyors, and customers to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions while maintaining strict control over time lines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and adherence to time lines.
- Manage financial performance, forecasts, and cost reporting.
- Develop construction programmes, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Chair site meetings and foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring compliance and leading training.
Essential experience as a Project Manager:
- Extensive experience in managing civil and water sector projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract conditions, NEC contracts, CDM regulations, and cost control.
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS).
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project management software.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire teams.
