Are you a Project Manager with NEC contract experience?
Do you have M&E fit-out experience?
Salary:
Project Manager – £40,000 to £55,000
Senior Project Manager – £55,000 to £75,000
Location: Manchester (3 days per week on-site)
I am working with an international leading consultancy with an infrastructure team based in Manchester, currently looking to appoint both a Project Manager and a Senior Project Manager with a strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background. These are client-side delivery roles, seconded into a major infrastructure programme, with a strong pipeline of upcoming works.
You’ll be joining an established team delivering fit-out works and broader infrastructure M&E packages, including HVAC systems, substations, and AC/DC/DV conversion. The role is predominantly site-based (3 days per week) and will see you embedded in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment of project managers, commercial, risk, and procurement professionals.
Experience with NEC contracts is essential at this level, particularly for those seeking the Senior PM position, which will also require strategic oversight and leadership capability.
Requirements:
- Experience in an M&E discipline including HVAC systems, substations, and AC/DC/DV conversion.
- Demonstrable experience managing regulated infrastructure projects (such as rail, aviation, water, energy, etc.).
- Strong understanding of NEC 3/4 contracts – essential.
- Able to coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage teams, and oversee schedules and risk.
- Contractor-side or consultancy-side experience welcome.
Additional information:
This will be a one-stage interview process on Teams. Due to the urgency of this role, only those with a maximum notice period of 8 weeks can be considered.
